Documenting my performances was complicated for a long time until I was able to film the images from the performances, in a new location, without an audience. There was a kind of translation of the work from performance to film. The time factor is different, but the work can be communicated in essence.

In 2017 my feature film Echo the Now (63 min. produced by SNG Film Amsterdam) was released. This film was recently awarded best cinematography by the New York International Women Festival, best feature film in Oakland Film Festival, and best experimental film in Madrid ArtHouse Film Festival.

Claire Pijman was the Director of Photography.

I am currently working on a new film with the working title The Days Come Together.
