Studio in 's-Hertogenbosch
After working in Cincinnati (1989) for Ted Rosenthal, I lived and worked in an 'declared unlivable' farm in Lanaken. When I started teaching in Heeswijk in Noord Brabant I found a studio closer to my job. Housed in De Melkfabriek, a former dairy factory, squatted at that time, I experienced a free space, connected to open spirits. Hardly heating in winter, many broken windows, basic living. In 1997 I started a residency at the European Ceramic Work Centre, the cermamic sculptures you see at this page, were created there.
