De dagen komen naast elkaar

Plans for a new film emerged in 2020, on the island of Texel. I regularly filmed the images and performances which arose. Sometimes in collaboration with a small crew with DOP Claire Pijman. Later on I started filming myself. My desire was to film when images emerged over time, rather than working via a scenario. The first edit is ready and has been viewed by a small team. Now I am preparing for postproduction.

The development of the plans for this new film was supported by VEVAM in 2021.
My way of film making was supported by the Mondriaan Fund in 2023.
At the end of December 2024, the Amsterdam Fund for the Arts awarded a stipend to edit the film and develop it into a first version until the start of post production.

Film

Documenting my performances was complicated for a long time until I was able to translate my performances to film. This way my feature film Echo the Now (63 min. produced by SNG Film Amsterdam) was created, and released in 2017.

Currently I am editting my new film with the working title the days come next to each other.
